“Everything that exists is in a manner the seed of that which will be.” – Marcus Aurelius
On April 26 come take part in a story of the evolution of world cuisines. Taking a closer look at the “family trees” of cuisine, our chef will guide about 30 guests through five to seven gourmet courses, each an examination of the ways in which culinary approaches from around the world have influenced one another, as innovation, evolution, and cultural interaction continue to shape the way we understand and use food in our daily lives.
For this event, we will be at the Enrichmond TreeLab, which “connects citizens to the benefits of Richmond’s natural urban environment through information distribution, access to horticultural expertise, collaborative projects, and workforce development opportunities.” As a nod to TreeLab’s goal of improving RVA’s canopy, we will employ the fruits, vegetables, spices, and morsels that are born of the jungle and forest throughout the course of the evening.
Keep your Earth Day celebration going by joining us as we explore the benefits of our community’s green spaces, and the edible evolution of thought that has taken place with the centuries-long development of various world cuisines.
Tickets to Branch & Fork are $85, which includes all dinner courses, wine pairings, craft cocktails, tax, and gratuity for the evening. This ticket price also includes a $10 tax-deductible charitable donation to E.A.T. Foundation.
Guests are encouraged to make an optional donation to TreeLab as well on the ticket form, to ensure that green spaces, and our common connection to nature continues to thrive in RVA!
We can't wait!
